Renault 2.0 IDE fuel pressure sensor
New fuel pressure sensor from F5R Team. Replacement for 7700113205.
This is a new generation inductive sensor so is more durable than the original piezoelectric sensor.
The sensor is sealed onto the cone at the bottom on of the fuel rail, not as the original sensor on the O-ring.
The sensor has a different connection than the original sensor and requires a connection adapter (included) or change the order of wires in the plug.
Fuel pressure sensor voltage reading
Sensor installation note
🔥 Any work on the injection system may only be carried out on a cold engine 🔥
Please note that the sensor is sealed on the cone, not like the original on the o-ring. After tightening, a gap of approx. 2mm remains between the fuel rail and the sensor. The tightening torque is 8 Nm. If necessary, unscrew the sensor and re-tighten it to seal the sensor cone in the rail seat.
For connection, please use the adapter in the set or change the order of the wires in the sensor plug in accordance with the adapter. After starting the engine, check that there are no fuel leaks.
In case of improper operation, it is necessary to diagnose the fuel system with the CAN-Clip device. It is necessary to reset the ECU first, the learned value of the PR485 (PR103 for Megane IDE) correction must after the reset be 0. Then start the engine and check the faults. In the event of fault DF424 2.DEF (inconsistency of data), it is necessary to check the efficiency of the high-pressure pump and the efficiency of the pressure regulator. The admissible value of the PR485 (PR103) parameter must be -6% to + 6%
