Fuel pressure regulators may come in different colors depending on the current PVD process.

The valve of the regulator is made of tungsten carbide, three times harder than original steel valve (>92HRC). For this reason, the regulator has a lifespan of approximately 500,000 km. Once correctly installed, the regulator never requires removal.
