Before regeneration, the pressure regulator is checked on a test stand at a pressure of 150 bar and a temperature of 120C. If it fails the test, it is repaired. The most common scope of repair is the replacement of the valve and guides. After installing the pressure regulator, proper operation is checked.

New FPM seals and a small spare O-ring are added to the pressure regulator.
