During installation, please bear in mind that petrol is a solvent, so you must remove any petrol from the regulator socket and then apply lubricant to both the socket and the regulator. Otherwise, the O-rings will be damaged during installation, and fuel will bypass the pressure regulator.
The pressure regulator must click into place in the socket when pressed with a finger. This ensures that the O-rings are positioned correctly and that the system is leak-proof. Tightening torque 8 Nm
Adaptation procedure
After starting the engine, leave it at idle speed until the radiator fan turns on and off. While warming up, increase the engine speed from time to time. Wait until the fan turns off and turn off the engine.
In case of problems, it is necessary to connect the diagnostic device and check working parameters. If the pressure drops under load, the high pressure pump should be checked.
