Fuel pressure sensor
The pressure sensor GM#24418424 is a pressure-voltage converter, so the output voltage is directly proportional to the pressure value. After the ignition is turned on, the injection system has a pressure of about 4.5 bar, which corresponds to a value of about 0.62V. If the voltage is below 0.58V, the pressure is usually too low, however, then it is best to verify the pressure with a pressure gauge connected to the valve in the pump input terminal.
At idle, the voltage should amount to 1.65V, which corresponds to a pressure of 50 bar. At full load, the injection system reaches 110 bar, which corresponds to a voltage of 1.65V.
The sensors are rarely damaged and it is easy to check it with a voltmeter. The output voltage in this case is 0V or 4.5V.
The pressure sensor output is on the middle pin [2].
